1. Overview
WTN5 series is 4-bit controller. Now there are three kinds of chip WTN5055, WTN5025, WTN5085(voice length is 55s, 25s, 85s respectively), WTN5055, WTN5085 have been put into market. Next WTN5025 will come soon. Audio sample rate is up to 44.1kHz maximally,16-level volume control. Two audio output modes: PWM output and DAC output. Accurate +/-1% internal shock, no need to have external shock, ultra-low power consumption in standby mode.
2. Functions
☆Working voltage: 2.2V~5.5V.
☆In standby mode, quiescent current less than 1uA.
☆Accurate+/-1% internal shock, also providing external shock for speed governing, with the function of low voltage reset(LVR=1.8V), watchdog timekeeping and I/O reset.
☆PWM audio output, able to drive speaker and buzzer directly; DAC audio output, able to have external amplifier.
☆Built in watchdog.
☆With serial port control mode: one-line serial port, two-line serial port (can load 255 pieces of voice at most).
☆Support output function in BUSY state.
The setting of chip voltage determines the opening and closing of the internal LDO. Pay attention to chip voltage setting which must be matched with power supply voltage and circuit wiring. Otherwise it will cause chip damage or inoperation. Supply voltage is as below:
